Get Involved

The Ken Eaton Foundation was founded by a victim of violent crime, for victims of violent crime. This gives us a unique perspective into the needs of those who have suffered from violence. We promise to reach out to victims of all types of crimes. And we will to be there for victims through the entire course of the grieving process––not a year down the line, or two years down the line, but right from the start.

Black and WhiteDonations to our foundation will be used to help victims of crimes, and also to prevent future crimes from happening. We welcome and are grateful for all monetary donations.

But there are other ways to get involved, especially if you are a victim of crime yourself. Our hope as a foundation is to help victims heal by receiving counsel and support from fellow victims. By sharing their stories and answering questions, victims will help each other answer the unanswerable, like "Why Me?"

We also hope that victims who are emotionally able will donate time to tell their stories to large groups and spread the word that there is help available. By especially reaching out to the youth of America, we hope to illustrate the effects of crime through the victim’s point of view, and hopefully prevent future crime.

Donations to the foundation also will be distributed through education scholarships to young American students who are trying to better themselves through education. We believe furthering and encouraging education is the best way to help our youth improve their lives and create better opportunities for themselves. By utilizing the philosophy of "paying it forward" and by giving scholarships in the name of victims, we hope to raise awareness of the effects crime has on human lives and to make a difference in someone else’s. We hope that by helping them to help others, and seeing their own tragedies and sorrows become a beacon of hope for others, that victims will be able to turn tragedy into hope.

Seeing their tragedies and sorrows shine through someone else will help victims take a negative and turn it to a positive.
